These Terms and Conditions govern the use of vehicle rental and tour services provided by Gajant Laxmi Tours. By booking a service with us, you agree to the following terms:
1. Booking and Payment
- Advance Deposit: A booking is considered confirmed only upon receipt of the agreed-upon advance deposit.
- Final Settlement: The remaining balance of the total fare must be settled with the driver or via digital payment upon completion of the trip or as agreed at the start of the journey.
- Extended Usage: Any usage of the vehicle beyond the agreed-upon hours or kilometers will attract additional charges as per our standard rates.
2. Vehicle Usage and Safety
- Passenger Capacity: The number of passengers must not exceed the legal seating capacity of the vehicle as per the RTO registration.
- Prohibited Activities: Smoking, consumption of illegal substances, and unruly behavior that distracts the driver are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle.
- Route Deviations: For sightseeing (North/South Goa, Dudhsagar, etc.), the driver will follow a standard itinerary. Significant deviations or additional spots may incur extra charges for fuel and time.
3. Outstation Trips (Karnataka & Maharashtra)
- Permits and Tolls: For trips to Hampi, Gokarna, Amboli, or Sawantwadi, all inter-state permits, parking fees, and toll taxes are to be borne by the customer unless explicitly included in the initial quote.
- Driver DA: For multi-day outstation trips, a Driver Allowance (DA) for food and accommodation will be charged per night.
- Night Driving: For safety reasons, driving between 11:00 PM and 5:00 AM on long-distance ghat sections or highways is discouraged unless it is a pre-scheduled airport transfer.
4. Luggage and Personal Belongings
- Responsibility: While we take utmost care, Gajant Laxmi Tours is not responsible for any loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, luggage, or electronic items left in the vehicle.
- Valuables: We advise guests to keep cash, jewelry, and passports with them at all times.
5. Delays and Breakdowns
- Traffic/Weather: We are not liable for delays caused by traffic congestion, road closures, heavy rain, or mechanical breakdowns beyond our control.
- Vehicle Substitution: In case of a mechanical failure, we will endeavor to provide a replacement vehicle as soon as possible to ensure your trip continues smoothly.
6. Cleaning and Damage
- Vehicle Care: If the vehicle is soiled excessively (e.g., vomiting, food spills, sand in upholstery), a professional cleaning fee may be charged to the customer.
- Damages: Any physical damage caused to the vehicle interior or exterior by the customer or their guests will be charged at actual repair costs.
7. Jurisdiction
- Any disputes arising out of the services provided by Gajant Laxmi Tours shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Goa.
